ABOUT BOMBA PA' TU ESCUELA
The purpose of Bomba Pa' Tu Escuela is to unite different communities in Puerto Rico making our culture accessible. This project began under the name "Armonía en Clave" in 2018 and was resumed under the name "Bomba Pa' tu Escuela" after the pandemic.
In total, we have impacted over 50 communities by offering educational and recreational workshops that promote culture through the Puerto Rican bomba. These workshops also promote an atmosphere of joy, entertainment, community support and inclusion. We have currently impacted over 1,500 people in various communities in Puerto Rico.

Practical and fun educational workshop of 45 minutes to an hour on the Puerto Rican bomba.

The workshop covers the general history of the Puerto Rican bomba, vocabulary of general terms such as names of instruments, rhythms and basic dance steps.

The first half of the workshop is focused on learning vocabulary and traditions, while the second half focuses on interactive learning of the execution of the bomba (dance and percussion).
